We were at our almost-weekly visits to my aunt's place and Megan decided that she wants some cloth to play with (I gave her fabric swatches to play with at home to introduce textiles and textures). Grand-aunty showed Megan where she kept her pillowcases and cushion covers and she took out a whole lot of these and started to fold. I was very pleased with her efforts on the tasks she has assigned herself.After she had enough of folding practice, she took a pillowcase and it became a BIG duffle bag for her to keep more pillowcases. She slung it over her shoulder and lug it around the house, trying to coax everyone to sit down for a haircut, pretending other pillowcases were the hairdresser's cover.

ReplyDeleteI think children learn faster if the mummy does things around the house. Since I don't do much housework or cooking, Sean doesn't know much about them.
