I thought we should not splurge on party decor nor flavours for Megan's celebration. But a party is a party and it should be fun and colourful. So I made some paper streamers out of coloured paper and packed a few goodie bags for the children we are expecting.Megan was excited about the party when I explained the paper streamers and decorations in the house to her. When I was putting up the streamers 2 days before the party in the morning, she came to me while I was standing on the piano bench, held on to my legs and said "Mama, xiao-xin". My heart simply melted.
